Finally, The press speaks out.

Keith Olbermann confronted Senator Hillary Clinton in a ten-minute "Special Comment," saying that he was not endorsing Barack Obama but that "events insist" that he speak and stand against her "tepid response" to the controversial remarks of Geraldine Ferraro wherein she said that Obama wouldn't have been as successful if he were not black.

Check out the video here.

Although I agree that race may play a role for some voters, I DO NOT condone Ferraro's comments NOR do I believe that Obama's lead in delegates and states is because he's African-American. There's something about the way he runs his campaign. It has themes of unity, integrity, and giving political power back to the American people. I don't know about you but his campaign and his character make me an Obama supporter. What do you think about Ferraro's remarks?

Thanks for sharing this video; I had not yet seen it. It’s an understatement for me to say that her comments were racist. I eagerly waited to watch GMA for what I thought was going to be an apology for her comments but instead, I was applaud to hear her try to defend that the comment was anything but racist.

I agree 100% with Keith Olbermann’s plea with Senator Clinton that she needs to be more aggressive with removing herself from these negative comments from her campaign members and by not doing so, he is indirectly condoning them. I find it very clever how he ended saying she needs to “reject and denounce” the comments. I felt he was throwing back in her face the pressure she put on Senator Obama for not using the word “reject” in denouncing the racist comments made by one of his NON-campaign supporters, so Senator Obama concurred with her and stated “Okay, I reject and denounce the comments” LOL. I think by ending on that note, Olbermann is bringing to light her hypocritical ways.
